Privacy Policy

Bloom itself collects none of your data. Everything you enter — your due date, weeks, kick and contraction sessions, weight, symptoms, mood, appointments, checklists, journal notes and bump photos — is stored only on your device. There is no account and no sign-in, and Bloom never uploads, receives, sees, sells or shares your pregnancy data. The app connects to the internet only for ads and the ad consent form (see Advertising), for the optional Bloom Pro purchase on Android (see Purchases), and when you tap a link to a source or to this policy, which opens in your browser. Bloom's fonts are bundled with the app, so nothing is downloaded to display them.

Bloom uses the dates and entries you provide only on your device: to calculate your current week, show the matching development content, draw your charts, and schedule the reminders you turn on.

Bloom is supported by occasional ads served through Google AdMob on content screens (Home, Tools, More and the weekly pages). Ads never appear on the kick counter, contraction timer, weight, symptom and mood, checklist, appointment or journal screens, and Bloom shows no ads at all while a pregnancy is marked paused or ended. An optional rewarded video ("Remove ads for a week") plays only when you tap to watch it.

Ads are served by Google AdMob and its mediation partners Unity Ads, ironSource (Unity LevelPlay) and Liftoff (Vungle). To show and measure ads, these companies may access your device's advertising identifier and other device identifiers, your IP address and the approximate location derived from it, how you interact with ads, and diagnostic and device information (such as device model and operating system). Bloom does not put your pregnancy, health or journal data into ad requests, and every ad request asks for non-personalised ads, on Android and on iPhone and iPad. On iPhone and iPad, after any consent form, Bloom asks for App Tracking Transparency permission; ads stay non-personalised either way, and if you allow tracking, the advertising identifier is used only to measure ads. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.

Where the law requires it, Bloom asks for your consent through Google's consent form before any ad is requested: in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland you are asked first, and in some US states the form lets you opt out. Your choice is saved on your device, and More › Privacy choices lets you review or change it at any time. You can also reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device settings.

On Android, Bloom offers an optional one-time purchase, Bloom Pro, which removes ads. Google Play processes the payment; we receive no card or payment details, and the purchase is tied to your Google Play account so it can be restored on a reinstall or a new device. Bloom has no in-app purchases on iPhone and iPad.

If you turn them on, Bloom sends local reminders — a weekly update, appointment reminders and an optional daily tip. They are scheduled on your device; no push-notification service of ours is involved. Your device asks for notification permission, and you can turn reminders off in the app or in your device settings. Reminders stop if a pregnancy is marked paused or ended.

Bloom lists the sources behind its week-by-week content. Tapping a source, or this policy, opens it in your browser under that website's own privacy policy. When you tap Share — for a week card, a milestone, a contraction log or a backup file — your device's share sheet sends it wherever you choose; nothing is shared until you do.

Bloom stores your data in the app's private storage on your device. Your phone's own backup (Google backup on Android, iCloud or computer backups on iPhone and iPad) may include it, under your account and that service's terms. Bloom also lets you export a backup file yourself and save it wherever you choose; we never hold a copy.

Your information is kept in the app's private storage on your device. Because nothing is uploaded to us, there is no server-side copy of your data to be breached.

We do not retain any of your information on our servers, because we never receive it. You can delete individual entries in the app, or everything at once with Delete everything in Privacy & Data; uninstalling the app also removes it. A Bloom Pro purchase is kept by Google Play and survives deletion. Google keeps what it keeps for ads and purchases under its own policies, which we do not control.

Bloom is an informational and educational tool. It is not medical advice and not a medical device, and it does not diagnose, treat or replace professional care. Always follow the guidance of your healthcare provider about your pregnancy, movement counting, contractions, weight and any symptoms.

Bloom is not intended for anyone under the age of 13 ("Children"); it is designed for adults and rated 18+ in the app stores. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us at hello@microappdigital.com.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the app or for legal or regulatory reasons. We will post the new version on this page with its date. Changes are effective when they are posted.
