Privacy Policy

CardFlip does not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your personal data on our own servers. Your decks, cards, study sessions, streaks and progress are stored locally on your device and never transmitted to us. CardFlip shows ads through Google AdMob, which collects some data directly from the app in order to show ads, and in-app purchases are handled by the app stores, as described below.

We do not receive your personal data, so there is no information for us to use or process. Studying works entirely on your device; an internet connection is used only for ads and in-app purchases. Backups you export are files you save and share yourself; reminders are scheduled locally on your device.

We do not sell or share your personal data ourselves. Advertising: to serve, measure and personalize ads and to prevent fraud, Google AdMob and its mediation partners Unity Ads, ironSource (Unity LevelPlay) and Liftoff (Vungle) collect data from your device, including your device advertising identifier, your IP address (from which an approximate location may be derived), your interactions with the app and its ads, and diagnostic information; this data is encrypted in transit. Ads may be personalized only as your choices allow: where your region requires consent (for example the EEA, the UK and Switzerland) you are asked first, and in US states with privacy laws you can opt out of the sale or sharing of your data; you can change these choices at any time from “Privacy options” in the app's Settings. On iOS, after any consent form, CardFlip asks for App Tracking Transparency permission: your advertising identifier is used only if you allow tracking, otherwise ads are not based on tracking you across other companies' apps and websites, and you can change this at any time in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking. You can reset or delete your advertising identifier in your device settings. Purchases: payments for CardFlip Pro are processed by Google Play or the App Store; on iOS, purchase status is verified through RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous app identifier and your purchase records (https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy). Your decks and study data stay on your device.

The security of your data is of utmost importance to us. Your study data is stored locally on your device, and data sent to our advertising and purchase partners is encrypted in transit. We are committed to maintaining a secure environment for all users.

We do not retain any personal information on our own servers. All application data is stored locally on your device and can be deleted at any time through the app or by uninstalling the application. Data collected by Google AdMob and RevenueCat is retained according to their privacy policies.

Our application is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13 ("Children"). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so that we can take steps to remove such information.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
