Privacy Policy

Garagely does not collect personal data on any server, and it has no account or sign-up. Your vehicles, fuel-ups, charges, service records, expenses, documents, reminders and photos are stored only on your device. Every tracking feature works offline. The app uses the internet only for ads (see Advertising), for the optional Garagely Pro purchase on Android (see Purchases), and for links you choose to open, such as an official recall-lookup website, which opens in your browser without Garagely sending it any of your data.

Since we do not collect any user data, there is no personal information for us to use or process. Your vehicle history stays on your device and is used only to power the features inside the app, such as economy calculations, reminders, and reports.

We do not share any of your vehicle data with third parties, because we do not collect it. Your records remain on your device. The advertising identifiers described below are handled by Google AdMob and its mediation partners, never linked by us to your vehicle records.

Garagely is free and supported by ads served through Google AdMob and its mediation partners Unity Ads, ironSource (Unity LevelPlay) and Liftoff (Vungle), including optional rewarded ads that play only when you tap to unlock an Extra. To show ads, these companies may access a device advertising identifier and limited technical information (such as device model, operating system and approximate location derived from your IP address).

Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA, the UK, Switzerland and some US states), Garagely asks for your consent through Google's consent form before ads are requested, and Settings › Privacy choices lets you change that choice at any time. Ads may be personalised only as the choice you make allows. On iPhone and iPad, after any consent form, Garagely asks for App Tracking Transparency permission: your advertising identifier is used only if you allow tracking, otherwise ads are not personalised, and you can change this at any time in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.

You can also reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device settings.

On Android, Garagely offers an optional one-time Garagely Pro purchase through Google Play Billing. Google processes the payment; Garagely never sees your payment details and stores only whether Pro is unlocked, so it can be restored on a reinstall through your Google Play account.

Reminders are scheduled on your device, are opt-in, and Garagely asks for notification permission only when you set one up. The camera and photo library are used only when you attach a receipt or vehicle photo, and those photos stay on your device.

Your records are stored locally on your device using your operating system's standard app storage, protected by your device's own security. Backups you export are files you control and store wherever you choose.

Since we do not collect any user data, we do not retain any personal information on external servers. All application data is stored locally on your device and can be deleted at any time by removing entries in the app, deleting a vehicle and its history, or uninstalling the application.

Our application is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13 ("Children"). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so that we can take appropriate steps.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
