Privacy Policy

Keepsake itself collects none of your data, and it has no account or sign-up. Your items, photos, videos, receipts, documents, rooms, properties and the rest of your inventory are stored only on your device and are never sent to us. The app uses the internet for ads (see Advertising), for the optional Keepsake Pro purchase on Android (see Purchases), and for links you choose to open.

Since we do not collect any user data, there is no information for us to use or process. Your inventory stays on your device and powers only the features inside the app, such as totals, reports and warranty reminders.

We do not share any of your inventory data with third parties because we do not collect it. Files you create yourself — a claim PDF, a CSV export or a backup — are shared only where you send them. The advertising identifiers described below are handled by Google AdMob and its mediation partners and never linked by us to your inventory.

Keepsake is free and supported by ads served through Google AdMob and its mediation partners Unity Ads, ironSource (Unity LevelPlay) and Liftoff (Vungle), including optional rewarded ads that play only when you tap to unlock a cosmetic Extra. To show and measure ads, these companies may access a device advertising identifier and limited technical information (such as device model, operating system and approximate location derived from your IP address). Your inventory is never used for advertising.

Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA, the UK, Switzerland and some US states), Keepsake asks for your consent through Google's consent form before any ad is requested, and Settings › Privacy choices lets you change that choice at any time. Ads may be personalised only as the choice you make allows. On iPhone and iPad, after any consent form, Keepsake asks for App Tracking Transparency permission: your advertising identifier is used only if you allow tracking, otherwise ads are not personalised, and you can change this at any time in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.

You can also reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device settings.

On Android, Keepsake offers an optional one-time Keepsake Pro purchase through Google Play Billing. Google processes the payment; Keepsake never sees your payment details and stores only whether Pro is unlocked, so it can be restored through your Google Play account.

The camera, photo library and files are used only when you add a photo, video, barcode, receipt or document, and everything you add stays on your device. Warranty and review reminders are scheduled on your device; Keepsake asks for notification permission when you turn a reminder on.

Your inventory is stored locally in your operating system's protected app storage. Backups, CSV exports and claim PDFs are ordinary files that are not encrypted: keep them somewhere you trust.

Since we do not collect any user data, we do not retain any personal information on external servers. All application data is stored locally on your device and can be deleted at any time by removing items in the app or by uninstalling the application. You can also export or back up your data to a file you control at any time.

Our application is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13 ("Children"). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so that we can take steps to remove such information.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
