Privacy Policy - Memorix

Your privacy matters. This page explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Introduction

Welcome to Memorix — Memory Test & Brain Training. We are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines our practices regarding the collection, use, and protection of your information when you use our mobile application, available on Google Play and the App Store.

By using Memorix, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of this policy, please do not use our application. We take your privacy seriously and strive to ensure that your personal information is protected.

Information We Collect

Memorix is designed with privacy in mind. We do not run servers that collect your data, and the app does not require an account or any personal information to work. All test results, scores, memory profiles, achievements and preferences are stored locally on your device and are never sent to us. The only data that leaves your device is what the third-party services described below (advertising and, on iOS, purchases) need to work.

Advertising

Memorix shows ads served by Google AdMob, which keeps the app free. To deliver, measure and limit ads (for example frequency capping and fraud prevention), Google may collect information from your device such as its advertising ID, IP address, device type, approximate location and how you interact with ads. Memorix requests non-personalized ads only and does not ask to track you across other apps, so ads are not tailored to your interests. If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, Google's consent form asks for your choice before any ad is requested, and you can change it at any time in Settings → Ad Privacy Options. Google's use of this data is described at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

How We Use Your Information

Since we do not collect any personal user data, there is no information for us to use or process. All data generated by your use of the app — including memory scores, test history, personal bests, and achievements — remains entirely on your device and is never accessed by us.

Sharing Your Information

We do not sell or share your test data with anyone. The app uses these third-party services, each under its own privacy policy: Google AdMob and Google's User Messaging Platform (ads and ad consent, see above); and, on iOS, Apple's App Store and RevenueCat to process and verify the optional one-time Memorix Pro purchase. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID generated on your device, your purchase receipt and basic device information (such as OS version and IP address); it never receives your name, email or test results. Payments are handled entirely by Apple — we never see your payment details.

Security of Your Information

The security of your data is important to us. All app data is stored locally on your device in the app's private storage, which other apps cannot access. We do not transmit your test results or progress over the internet; they stay on your device unless you choose to share a result or export a backup.

Retention of Your Information

Since we do not collect any user data on our servers, we do not retain any personal information. Data stored locally on your device remains there until you choose to reset it within the app or uninstall the application.

Children's Privacy

Memorix is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13 ("Children"). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided personal data through the app, please contact us so we can take appropriate steps.

Medical Disclaimer

Memorix is a screening and educational tool, not a medical device and not a diagnosis. The memory tests and scores provided are for self-assessment and entertainment purposes only. They should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you have concerns about your memory or cognitive function, please consult a qualified healthcare professional.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal and regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. Changes are effective when posted. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
