Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters. This page explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Introduction
Welcome to Reflex. We are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines our practices regarding the collection, use, and protection of your information when you use our mobile application, Reflex, available on the App Store and Google Play.
By using Reflex, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of this policy, please do not use our application. We take your privacy seriously and strive to ensure that your personal information is protected.
Information We Collect
We do not collect any personal data from our users. Your test results, personal bests, streaks, training-program progress, achievements and settings are stored only on your device and are never sent to us. There is no account and no sign-up. The exceptions are the ad and purchase services described below, which receive data directly from the app.
Advertising
Reflex shows ads served through Google AdMob and its mediation partners Unity Ads, ironSource (Unity LevelPlay) and Liftoff (Vungle). Ad requests are limited to content suitable for general audiences. To serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud, these companies may collect data from your device, including your device advertising identifier on Android, your IP address (from which an approximate location may be derived), your interactions with ads, and diagnostic information. Your test results are never put into ad requests, and no ad is loaded or shown while a test is running. Where your region requires consent (for example the EEA, the UK and Switzerland), Google's consent form asks you before any ad is requested, and in US states with privacy laws you can opt out of the sale or sharing of your data; you can change these choices at any time from Ad privacy in the app. On Android, ads may be personalized only as your choices allow. On iOS, ads are never personalized and the app never asks for App Tracking Transparency permission. You can reset or delete your advertising identifier in your device settings. See the privacy policies of Google (https://policies.google.com/privacy), Unity Ads and ironSource (https://unity.com/legal/game-player-and-app-user-privacy-policy) and Liftoff (https://liftoff.ai/privacy-policy/).
In-App Purchase (Reflex Pro)
Reflex Pro is an optional one-time purchase. On Android it is handled by Google Play Billing: Google processes the payment under its own privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy), and the app only receives a confirmation on your device. On iOS it is handled by Apple's App Store and checked through RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous app user ID, your purchase and transaction information and basic device information (such as the app version, OS version and country) so the purchase can be verified and restored. RevenueCat does not receive your test results, name or email. See Apple's (https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/) and RevenueCat's (https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy) privacy policies.
Reminders and Widgets
The daily reminder is off until you switch it on in the app; the notification is scheduled on your device and no server is involved. On Android, the home-screen widgets show today's challenge, your streak and your best time from the data already stored on your device.
How We Use Your Information
We do not receive your data, so there is nothing for us to use or process. The tests work offline and need no personal data; an internet connection is used to show ads and to check a Reflex Pro purchase, as described in this policy.
Security of Your Information
Your data stays in the app's private storage on your device, which other apps cannot read. Reflex does not send your results anywhere. A backup file is created only when you export one yourself, and it is saved where you choose.
Retention of Your Information
We keep no personal information on any server. Your results and settings stay on your device until you delete them by clearing the app's storage in your device settings or by uninstalling the app. The ad and purchase services keep their data under their own policies, linked above and below.
Children's Privacy
Our application is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13 ("Children"). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so that we can take steps to remove such information from our servers.
Compliance with Play Families Policy
We are dedicated to complying with the Play Families Policy. This means our app is designed to be family-friendly and safe for all users, especially children. We ensure that our app content is appropriate and adheres to the guidelines set forth by the Play Families Policy.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
