Privacy Policy - Speed Test: Internet & WiFi

Speed Test is designed with privacy in mind. We do not collect any personal data from our users. All test results, server preferences, history, and settings are stored locally on your device and are never transmitted to our servers. The app does not require account registration or any personal information to function.

To measure your internet speed, the app sends anonymous HTTP requests to Cloudflare's public speed-test endpoints (speed.cloudflare.com). These requests carry no user identifiers — only the bytes needed to measure download, upload, and latency. Cloudflare may log standard request metadata such as IP address and timestamp under their own privacy policy. We never see this data.

Speed Test displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob to support free access to the app. Google AdMob may collect certain non-personal, aggregated data such as device type and general location to serve relevant ads. This data is handled by Google in accordance with their privacy policy. We do not have access to or control over the data collected by AdMob.

Since we do not collect any personal user data, there is no information for us to use or process. All data generated by your use of the app — including test results, history, and server selections — remains entirely on your device and is never accessed by us.

We do not share any personal data with third parties because we do not collect any. The only third-party services integrated into the app are Cloudflare's public speed-test endpoints (for the speed measurement itself) and Google AdMob (for advertising), both of which operate under their own privacy policies.

The security of your data is important to us. All app data is stored locally on your device using industry-standard encrypted local storage. We do not transmit your test history over the internet, which means your results are always under your control.

Since we do not collect any user data on our servers, we do not retain any personal information. Data stored locally on your device remains there until you choose to clear history within the app or uninstall the application.

Speed Test is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13 ("Children"). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided personal data through the app, please contact us so we can take appropriate steps.

We are dedicated to complying with the Google Play Families Policy. Our app is designed to be appropriate for all users and adheres to the content guidelines set forth by Google Play. We ensure our advertising practices meet the requirements for apps that may be used by families.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal and regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. Changes are effective when posted. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
