Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters. This page explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Introduction

Welcome to TypeMe. We are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines our practices regarding the collection, use, and protection of your information when you use our mobile application, TypeMe, available on Google Play and the App Store.

By using TypeMe, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of this policy, please do not use our application. We take your privacy seriously and strive to ensure that your personal information is protected.

Information We Collect

At TypeMe, we prioritize your privacy and data security. TypeMe does not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your personal data on our own servers. Your test answers, results, and history are stored locally on your device and never transmitted to us. TypeMe shows ads through Google AdMob, which collects some data directly from the app in order to show ads, and in-app purchases are handled by the app stores, as described below.

How We Use Your Information

We do not receive your personal data, so there is no information for us to use or process. The tests and your results work entirely on your device; an internet connection is used only for ads and in-app purchases.

Sharing Your Information

We do not sell or share your personal data ourselves. Advertising: to serve, measure and personalize ads and to prevent fraud, Google AdMob collects data from your device, including your device advertising identifier, your IP address (from which an approximate location may be derived), your interactions with the app and its ads, and diagnostic information; this data is encrypted in transit. On Android, ads may be personalized: where your region requires consent (for example the EEA, the UK and Switzerland) you are asked first, and in US states with privacy laws you can opt out of the sale or sharing of your data; you can change these choices at any time from “Ad privacy options” in the app's Settings. On iOS we do not request App Tracking Transparency permission. You can reset or delete your advertising identifier in your device settings. See Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and how Google uses information from apps that use its services (https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites). Purchases: payments are processed by Google Play or the App Store; on iOS, purchase status is verified through RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous app identifier and your purchase records (https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy). Your test answers, results, and history stay on your device.

Security of Your Information

The security of your data is of utmost importance to us. Your test data is stored locally on your device, and data sent to our advertising and purchase partners is encrypted in transit. We are committed to maintaining a secure environment for all users.

Retention of Your Information

We do not retain any personal information on our own servers. All application data is stored locally on your device and can be deleted at any time through the app settings or by uninstalling the application. Data collected by Google AdMob and RevenueCat is retained according to their privacy policies.

Children's Privacy

Our application is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13 ("Children"). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so that we can take steps to remove such information from our servers.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
