Welcome to Until: Countdown Widgets. We are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines our practices regarding the collection, use, and protection of your information when you use our mobile application, available on Google Play and the Apple App Store.
By using Until, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of this policy, please do not use our application.
We do not collect any personal data. Until has no account system and nothing to sign in to. Your events, their dates and titles, the photos and emoji you attach, your archived keepsakes, your reminder choices and your app settings are all stored locally on your device and are never transmitted to any server.
There is no sync, no cloud backup and no server that holds your events. Nothing you type into Until leaves your device except when you deliberately share a keepsake using your phone's own share sheet, at which point you choose the destination.
When you add a photo to an event, it is chosen through your device's own system picker. The app is never granted access to your photo library — it receives only the single image you picked, and stores a copy inside its own private storage on the device. Removing the app removes those copies.
Until draws its widgets as images on your device and hands them to the system so your home screen can display them. Those images contain only the event information you entered. They are never uploaded anywhere.
Milestone reminders and the morning-of notification are scheduled locally on your device by the operating system. They are off unless you turn them on for a particular event, permission is requested only at that moment, and no notification content is sent through any server.
Until displays advertising from Google AdMob on two screens: the main list and the archive. To serve those ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect your device's advertising identifier and standard diagnostic information such as device model, operating system version and general region.
Your events, dates, titles, photos and reminders are never shared with advertisers or with any other third party. You can review Google's practices in the Google Privacy & Terms, and you can reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device settings at any time.
Until requests notification permission only when you switch on a reminder. It does not request access to your calendar, your contacts or your photo library. On Android the billing permission is present so that in-app products can be offered in a future update; no purchases exist in the current version.
Until is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. Because no personal data is collected at all, there is nothing for us to store or delete on request.
Because your data never leaves your device, you are always in control of it. Deleting an event removes it immediately, and uninstalling the app removes everything it stored, including any photo copies.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
